No quitting from me and I am not hiding from anything. My family recently moved to Oregon to be closer to family.
I enjoyed my time at MTHS and was looking forward to this coming season with a good core group of seniors returning and continuing to build the program. My wife and I had an opportunity to move to Oregon and be closer to family. So we took it. The decision was not an easy one as I loved teaching and coaching at MTHS but being closer to family made my decision to go to Oregon an easier one.
I have been blessed to have coached a few high schools in my teaching and coaching career in Washington. Each time I chose to leave a school teaching/coaching job it was made based on logistics and what was best for my family. It was never made with the intent to hide from anything nor an act of quitting on a program, as you seem to take it.
I have been blessed to have coached in Washington for 17 years and look forward to continue that in Oregon.
It's a bummer you feel I "quit" on the programs I was blessed to coach but it is certainly not the case.
I wish you well!
