I'd love to hear that a number of the state champs end up at a wrestling powerhouse, or at a top 25 academic program(Princeton, Cornell, Stanford).
Use wrestling, don't let it use you. That's my message to the kids trying to possibly broaden their horizons via the work they put in wrestling.
Do I personally care about Toppenish? No. I do care about humans, men, women, and children. I do love watching young wrestlers achieve big goals. People going out of their comfort zone.
I do not enjoy reading constant posts about a podunk town that has nothing going for it but kids wrestling(although they go literally nowhere with that talent).
Also...there is no way they earn more money changing oil, working in restaurants, cutting hair or any of that stuff than a person with an engineering degree from a top 25 school.
