I had deleted a thread as requested. Someone came back against the rules and started posting again so they just got banned. Do we really have to have these kinds of discussions? Can some people just not help themselves? Really?
As far as the Yakima Valley threads on here, that also is probably just a few folks that post repeatedly. I think whoever it is needs to get a life and quit worrying about what team they register on at a tournament. Who cares. I don't believe either of the coaches were posting on that thread and both coaches have obviously had some great success with wrestlers. Can we just leave it at that? That is a turf war of parents, not the coaches, and NEITHER OF THEM have asked me to delete anything. I think they are both bigger than that. I think they just see it for what it is: people venting about whatever THEIR issue is.
Deletions occur when requested (I know that is weak sauce but what can I do?). I rarely delete on my own volition because usually they are just someone's "opinion" and that is different than posting lies or allegations of illegal/inappropriate behavior (true or untrue). Those kinds of things get deleted as I don't have time or desire to deal with them.
As in everything in life, people are either part of the problem or part of the solution. When getting ready to post on here maybe take 30 seconds extra and run it by this test:
Of the things we think, say or do...
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
I can't force people to better than they really are. Nobody can. They have to do that on their own.
