We are raising a generation to rely on others for handouts. Now we have a whole generation expecting free college, healthcare, debt forgiveness without working for it.

I’ve seen Facebook post from parents on here asking for GoFundMe Donations for their kid to go to a Tourney in Vegas, Fargo etc. Then a month later the parents are posting family photos from Disneyland or how they waited in line for hours for the next big video game to arrive at Best Buy.

Just once I would like to see a parent post something on Facebook saying, “Does anyone have yard work or a job for my kid to help pay his way to Fargo”? This board would light up with responses including me.

I grew up with absolutely nothing and never asked anyone for one dime and now I have the ability to donate to causes and to give. The only money I’ll donate to GoFundMe is for a sick kid or their family’s expenses while visiting them.
