Re: Whose Alexio/Empire
Here is my 2 cents on this subject. Not that it means much but it is my perspective. The reason that this topic gets so much attention is because people are trying to separate these or they are trying to separate themselves from everyone else involved in the sport. I also don't agree that they are in it for the betterment of Washington women's wrestling. If that was the case, why fill in rosters at these "national tournaments" with studs from California and Oregon. If you were truly trying to better Washington wrestling, why not work with/recruit Washington girls? It is because the club name or the individual goals are more important. Just be honest. There is nothing wrong with that! Where people have an issue is because there is no honesty about it. Guys are trying to make a name for themselves at the national level. Even telling college coaches that they are world class coaches. Now having said all this.. i still don't think there is anything wrong with what they are doing. Now for some people, who drank the Kool aid, they believe that their childs name is only going to get noticed if they are attached to these fellas. That's ok too. They have yet to produce someone that they can fully say, they are at this level because I put them there. Once they do that..you will have a ton of believers.
