I’ve probably been involved in wrestling longer than you’ve been alive and I can positively say that all wrestlers do not feel that way. If I was to pull a number out of the air I would say 95 % don’t feel that way. Most kids show respect for their opponents. If your kid needs more practice time I suggest he talks to his coach. What does he possibly have to gain by continually cutting a lesser wrestler. No, at least 95% of h.s. Wrestlers go out, do their job and get the hell off the mat. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Getting more mat time is a bunch of horse shit. How in the hell does that make you better when it’s with a guy that you could just go out and pin.
