You spend however long warming up but going live is what blows your lungs out. Most kids aren't going 100% live in warm-ups to avoid injuries. You roll back into the bleachers after warm-ups to sit for hours. It's possible that the superior wrestler could pin a kid in 30 seconds and then they're back in the bleachers for hours. I know kids that will work several moves and break a good sweat to help them stay loose. It's not meant to be disrespectful but I can't say that 100% of the time that's the case but it's both competitor's and their coaches choice on how they wrestle a match. It's even a possibility they're 2294907working moves in preparation for one of the next guys. If the kid is talking smack and doing something unsportsmanlike that's disrespectful and should cost team points. The rest is just wrestling.
