Mike, I get it, but your playing catch the double edge sword here. I'm assuming your event is a USA event. Anything WIAA sanctioned you will get shut down and probably for any future events if you purposely go against them. Again, I personally get it, but it's not about your or my opinion, or even that of the teams coach or athlete. Schools and districts have a tight grasp on this one and I can assure you no AD/Superintendent will go against rules in place. Heads will spin, jobs lost, and maybe most of all athletes losing chances to compete. As an open minded person/fan who wants to see wrestling happen, just be careful your feelings don't get in the way of the rules. Lastly, your intentions have now been displayed on a public forum where there are no take backs, so I hope a "concerned" parent doesn't give you up based on their personal beliefs. Just sayin..
