Bottom line is the Coeur d’alene coaches and admin as well as the wrestlers parents lied to get the wrestler on the team. The Coeur d’lene AD is a long time wrestling coach and has two kids on the team.
This wrestler is living with a teammate, they do not qualify for athletic eligibility on any level. They do not reside in Idaho or the Coeur d’alene district. As a tax payer in the district I do not agree.
The fact that everyone is ok with the lies and let’s be honest “cheating” is not ok. What are you teaching the kids?
I don’t know this wrestler or much about him, but I’m sure he is a great kid. Not his fault.
