Rogers do have a rafting business all over Northern Idaho as well as a house there. As far as Roberts' is concerned if kids in other states he knows need to start school and get on the mat then it's fine by me if he let's them know what's available in Idaho. Call it recruiting or whatever but as mentioned in ALL sports around the country kids/families are moving to states with more normalcy so they can have opportunities. Strictly my opinion, but there is a huge difference in recruiting and cherry picking. A guy can tell others how well his program is doing or what great partners are in the room and it will attract others. Nothing more than a store putting things on sale to attract customers. Now the aggressive coaches/cherry pickers who go out of there way to call or visit or schmooze a kid away from their current team into their program and maybe even exaggerate to lure them is another deal in itself. Rogers and the Oregon guys heading to CDA especially with this ridiculous Covid crap is fine by me. As far as a kid losing their spot for any move in well they either fight for their spot or get better practicing with the guy who beat him. Life's full of challenges!
