With many, many teachers coming forward with their unions stating they don't feel safe until a proven vaccine is out will also play a huge part as there are not enough substitutes to cover those concerned teachers.
As far as sports, this is not going to be good. People I've spoken with at all levels in the state say they are hopeful, but only that, hopeful. Reality is there will be a cancellation of sports (TBD) and based on what the pandemic does it could be all. Moving to Spring was of course just to buy time for a vaccine and get counties into phase 4, which most are at a stand still and some moving backwards.
This is all a realistic view from info gathered, not my personal, political or otherwise view. It's disheartening is all I can say and wrestling will be horrifically effected at all levels.
Many people on here are anxiously awaiting for the July 22nd announcement, however it will not be set in stone due to the often changing way Covid is going. I hope they put out a schedule of some sort but again they could say wrestling will happen in January and if it doesn't it will be cancelled, not continuously rescheduled or postponed.
We can all be hopeful as all heck, but don't set yourself up for further disappointment as that will hurt even more.
