Others will have trouble adapting to the new world. Many businesses will never re-open, especially in retail. It was going to happen eventually anyway, but Covid-19 just sped it up. Much of retail was in its death rattle, as e-commerce slowly re-wires our purchasing habits. Many people will thrive regardless of circumstances, some need help. Those that need a lot of help, or have a replaceable or limited skill set are in a lot trouble for the foreseeable future. Its gonna be painful.
One thing that this pandemic has made clear is that the US as a nation is on the downside of its life cycle. The more we interact with each the more we hate each other. There is no "We the People," and there hasn't been for a long time. Maybe if we inject ourselves with some Lysol it will get better, but I doubt it.
