Mat Rat great write up but now let me show you another perspective on that match that you may not see from the stands. During that finals match the toppenish girl had 2 penalties for illegal moves at that point. One of those being a chicken wing which can cause serious injury to an opponent. The yelling and screaming from the coach was not towards the possible pin or near fall that may have occurred. This was emotion of a coach saving their highly ranked wrestler from a postseason injury. When the match was finally stopped for the second chicken wing the referee apologized for not seeing the illegal move and understood the coaches concern. The referee stated this should of been 2 more penalty points which would of still given toppenish the win. The coach told the referee the points were not the concern the possibility of preventing an injury was the concern. Now you may have not been in position to see how bad the arm was being stressed from the stands but the coach did have the angle on this situation. The coach also apologized for yelling and getting up off of the chair but was again trying to prevent an injury. In this match Toppenish was 1 more illegal move away from being disqualified. Now I do not believe that any were intentional or dirty but they were still illegal and there was 3 in one match. So from the stands you may perceive the coaches yelling screaming as bad but if you donít know the entire situation I canít blame you. The win/loss was not important but the wrestlers safety is always a top priority. Sorry you donít understand that as a fan.
