Re: Surprising weight changes
I completely understand people's opinions about the antics, but I do find some of these posts ignorant and a little hateful. The kid has wrestled 138 all off-season...when he was a Fargo All-American and World Team trials placer. Go look at track, and the truth is clear. He is a 138 pounder who has bumped up all year to allow the 2 132 pounders to get in the line up (Sauceda and Stover). Now that post season is here, Chiawana has kids who could possibly place at 132, 145, and 152. Robby could win it at 138 and allow teammates to place at the other weights, helping CHS to another team title. Not saying they will win it, or that he's a for sure champ at 138, but Robby at 138 will help their cause greatly.
C'mon, "4a Noise." No need to be negative, or to deny your SK preference. You predicted Stafford (great kid) beating Stover, and you've spoken negatively about Vaughn now that he'll be facing off against Eaglin (another great wrestler). Just own it. It's okay. Also, congratulations on your two state titles, especially if you went the weights that gave you the most adversity and least chance of winning.
Good luck to all kids these next two weeks on both sides of the state. Hope everyone stays healthy.
