10/2/26 - Just a note out to the folks that may try to access the WWR main website that I've had up for 30 years. It's on its last legs and actually today when I tried to fix something, there were problems that wouldn't allow me to change the page, in it's present format. I had to
completely change the underlying format 15 years
ago, due to Internet technical changes, and now
everything is updating again. Over time the
Wordpress theme I have used since 2012 for the
website is no longer being produced and has become
obsolete. In other words, It's like having a 30 year
old car that was nice and shiny when you started,
but now it's hard to find parts for, or get
repaired.😉
Next week
I'm going to see about updating to a newer theme but
there's always the possibility of breaking the
website when that gets done. I talked to the hosting
company today, and the tech said it might work, or
it might break. He said I probably need to
really re-build it from scratch. THAT'S not going to
happen!🥹
I'll take
every precaution that I can but I just wanted to
warn people in advance. The message board is a
separate host and will not be affected. It
will continue to function as it has. Wish me
luck.
This board was created and is maintained by Dave Gilbertson (Dave G on the board). This board is the official message board of the Washington Wrestling Report web site which has results and wrestling information from all over the state and nation. Posts that I feel are false or offensive may be edited or deleted. If something gets posted that you feel is inappropriate you can email Dave Gilbertson to give me the details and ask me to consider deleting the thread (or post), which I have done when requested. "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing" Site is best viewed on a phone by holding it it the horizontal position instead of vertical Use the WWR web site (click here) to get tournament results and schedules or, use the message board below for information from individuals or to just talk about wrestling. Two rules of thumb for ANY message board: 1. Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference. 2. Mud wrestling with pigs - Don't do it, because you never win, and eventually you realize the pig enjoys it. No private pay events or services will be listed on this page. These are listed on the Events/Camps Page and the info on how to buy a listing is down below, as well as on the front page. Information on how to advertise on this site! Privacy Policy |
