I have a problem with the ASM transmission on this vehicle,the pressure pump runs when you open the door to get in as it should but cycles every five seconds.
Using Autel diagnostics I have a fault code p0943 indicating the pump cycling period is to short.
I have pressure at between 6.5 kpa and 9.8 kpa live data but have no specific data to compare with.
Also the pump makes a chirping noise when running as if a noisy bearing on the armature?
I don't know whether the pump is turning off due to reaching the required pressure or because it is overloading, has anyone any experience with this transmission control.Any information would be helpful.
