I had a Toyota Prius in last week with a broken exhaust bracket. I welded it with oxy/acetylene as I didn’t want to do any damage. My question is, is there a “safe way” to carry out mig welding on an electric car?

Until someone comes along who has done the Hybrid training, my understanding of them is that the HV system is completely isolated from the vehicle bodywork, it doesn't use the bodywork for earths unlike the 12v systems !
