Year of Manufacture: 2007 ( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 3800
Hi I have a 911 at my customers house with a flat battery. I have had a charger ( 1 day)and Jump leads, on the pull out positive terminal in the fuse box. Still no joy. I've taken both wheel arch liners of and can't see the emergency release cable anywhere.
Spoke to Porsche uk parts and they said the cable should be on the n/s/f.
I suspect its missing or been incorrectly routed.
Has anybody got any suggestions
Thanks for reading.
Regards
Joe
Re: porsche 911, 997, battery dead, hood wont open
The emergency hood release could be either side. it is usually tucked up onto the bumper support beam. can't remember if you can release the bumper without removing the headlights.
