Hi had this vehicle recovered into us as a non start on key ( engine not turning over ) We scanned system and had a code of 5604 - P0850 park / neutral input switch open or short. all lights come on dash when ignition switched on and we can move it out of park to any position but it will not turn over, we put a feed to starter and it runs fine, dealer say all controls are part of lever assembly at £645 + vat not sure what tests we can carry out to be sure its that.Brake switch must be ok for us to be able to move lever, any advice would be grateful.
