Hi. Got this vehicle in and found the diesel leak from leak off pipe and both diesel and oil leaking from seals on cam cover. The seals fitted to cam cover fit over the injectors. Now the tricky bit. On the parts diagram the seals, 4 of, separate to the cover so ordered them. I removed the seals.. very brittle. Next day I was told that seals only come with the cover £180. Hard to believe but had to get back on road so ordered cover. Came with the seal fitted. Only problem was wrong shape of cover at one end. I was the told by Nissan it is a modified cover I would need a special plate to fit to the head to allow the new cover to fit. £290. I cannot believe that the seals can not be bought separately. Someone at the factory must fit these seals into the cover. Sorry for the long post but has anyone come across this before and does anyone know where I could try and purchase these seals. Customer does not want to spend this sort of money just for seals and because I knocked the seals out the original cover the vehicle is sitting there with it’s throat cut
