VW T5 2.5 2.5 BPC 2008 - Cooling fans continuously running - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture: 2008
( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 2.5 BPC

Both cooling fans run continuously after a few seconds of the engine running/ignition on.

All temperature readings look ok on live data and there are no fault codes present.
The engine ecu duty cycle request is 85% for fans 1 & 2.

Other than the fans running continuously it performs as it should and apart from a code for one of the sliding door pinch sensors there are no codes in any any other control units.

Any help appreciated

Has it got air con and if so what is the gas pressure?

Fixed!
Refrigerant pressure was very slightly too high.

Incorrect refrigerant charge it would seem. It had a repair to one of the rear air con pipes by a mobile company earlier this year where it looks like they put a joiner in one of the pipes. I find it a little strange that the fault has only recently been reported. Maybe back when we were having the heat wave it didn't seem out of place for the cooling fans to be running?
