N/S/F Door locked and will not open from either inside or outside.

Door lock button opens and closes with remote.

Have moved door pad away to gain access and found inner Door Handle Cable intact.

Cannot see any way to get at Lock Assembly as it is encased in plastic housing and contain inside door.

Have tried taping outer door handle, using remote several times etc., but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Have you tried opening the door with the engine running.?Gives the voltage a slight boost. I have used this method many times on VAG models .Sometimes it works,sometimes it doesn't.
If all else fails,then it looks like you will need a long driver or chisel and knock the S*** out of it.

Key needs to be connected to get engine running. This means the part needed to unlock door is hidden, if that makes sense?

There should be a switch on the centre console or roof panel to lock/unlock car.

After Locking/Unlocking the vehicle, Door opening became problematic once again, and now will not open.

It is as though Lock Assembly is locked within itself?

Fault Code: A6E8 not present. JBE Central Locking, repeat interlock.

To clarify: When Plip is used to open Door, the solenoid is audible opening, and the door button lifts to the open position. Using outer/inner handle, no resistance is felt. It is locked.

(Incidentally, when new Door Lock was fitted, if the Door was not locked with Plip or pressing Lock Button down, the Lock worked perfectly).

Wiring problem perhaps?

Checked Fuses in Engine Compartment and Drivers Footwell. Is there a Fuse for each door perhaps? A separate Fusebox for Central Locking?
