Jaguar S Type 3.0 V6 1999 - Code a new key fob #

Year of Manufacture *: 1999
( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 3000 v6 petrol

Does anybody know if snap on modis..autel ms908pro..bosch kts570 will code a new key fob in to this jag..been asked over the phone..so haven't been able to plug it in

Hi Paul
Used a Autel 906 yesterday to code a x type fob in with no problem.I think on the xtype that you can do it without a machine, i think something like get in close all doors key in position 1 wait 5 secs turn key quickly to position 2 then back to 1 four times, do this only once you should hear a single chime remove key for other keys press any single button you should hear a chime might be same for stype.

You should be able to go into your 908 and select whatever vehicle you are going to work on which should give various options as to what it can and can;t do,and you do not need to be connected to car.

Tried using autel ms908 pro.there was no option to program key fob.
