BMW 320D 2010 Touring - Rear wiper #

Hi All

Anyone had the pleasure of replacing the rear wiper pivot? The actual pivot is seized so replacing the whole part, but removing it from the glass tailgate it giving me some grief

Anyone got some tips or removed / replaced successfully, have it under tension with a couple of screw drivers and soaking in WD40 overnight, expecting to see the screen popped in a million pieces in the morning

So much for BMW quality

Hi Peter
Its the same as on the x type Jaguar estate, we drill around the handle just missing the pivot to replace the handle with the switch in it, so it looks like you will need a new handle to replace the pivot. We haven't broke a screen yet.

Managed to drill around the spindle and remove

Ordered new button
