MGTF 2003 - Indicator / hazards not working - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2003

Would anybody have a wiring diagram for the indicators on this car.
Alldata no coverage
Autodata no data..even spoke to them
Grupenia technical only mgf.not tf.
And does any body know where indicator relay is..it hasn't got a metal relay in fuse box like the mgf

Has this got that crappy multifuntion control unit as per the late rover 25,on the bulkhead under the dash,just a thought.

Just an update

This is fitted with the scu unit.that is located behind the centre console. You can remove the nearside side trim off centre console to get to it.held in with a tamperproof torx bit .
If you twist circuit board. Indicators start working..
All the solider joints look ok.

Customer is going to get a one

Are the key fobs coded to the scu unit.(they are the later type fobs)

And does the scu and engine ecu need pairinzg

If it works when you twist the board it is likely to be a poor connection where it plugs in or a dry solder joint. You say the joints look ok, but did you use a magnifier? they are often difficult to see without a magnifying glass.

Never done anything with these, but I believe the fobs are programmed to this unit and it is also matched the ecu. If you are any good with a soldering iron, then you could just swap the eeprom. Was just looking at a picture of one, 93CL66A 4k eeprom

If the customer is happy to pay for a new one why not give him the option of re-soldering any joints that you can access.
If it sorts it everyone is happy, the customer saves a lump of cash, and you look great.
If it doesn't nobody loses as the customer was buying a new one anyway...

Customer has fitted 2nd hand scu unit.key fobs and engine ecu..all sorted..thank for all you help
