Hi guys any help with this one greatly appreciated.
Came in as non runner, loads of codes and many people having previous attempts at swopping ecu ignition switch, steering lock.
Any way long story short vehicle will now run with gearbox loom plug unplugged but will not change gear in drive,will select reverse and park fine.
Fault codes stored are
P2221-001 TRANSMISSION CONTROL FAULT PRESENT IN CONTROL UNIT EGS

P2537-001 THE INTERNAL ELECTRICAL CHECK OF COMPONENT Y3/6Y6(TORQUE CONVERTER LOCKUP CLUTCH CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE HAS FAILED.
These codes are stored whether gearbox plugged in or not.

Sounds like control unit inside box
have a look on AC tronics site
getting a new one from dealers is hard work

Removed sump and found the electrical connections inside melted and broken. Customer sourcing 2nd hand box .
