Year of Manufacture *: 2007 ( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 1.9d
Evening everyone,
I have a skoda octavia i am working on, its a 2007,
The boot will not open, and there seems to be a 12v power supply that activates the back boot door lock missing,
The boot door switch is sending a ground signal back to the control unit but the control unit is not sending a 12v feed back out to activate the boot lock motor,
code stored is, 02483 Module for locking of rear lid (F327)
I have checked the wires between the boot door and the car which tested good,
What i need is a wiring diagram and the location of the boot lock control module,
I have tryied Erwin with both a master card and a visa card but it is not excepting any of those cards for some reason,
I have also tryied auto data but have not heard back from them sense I asked them 3 days ago,
Do anyone know where else I could get a diagram? Thanks,

Trevor
Buy UKAT workshop data, it has the info you need and is a good and reasonably priced.
Kev.
ps. on the limited details of your car the wiring diagram you need is there.

I just had a look at workshop data there and it only has diagrams up as far as 2006 and the pen layout for the locks on a 2006 listed there are different to the car I am working on, It don't seem to show the location of the control units either!
Thanks for your reply kev,it was worth a look do,

PM me an email and the vehicle registration number & i'll sort out a diagram for you.
Off memory the release solenoid is in the slam panel on some Octavias, it flicks a lever in the tailgate latch which has just the micro switches inside.
Can you operate it via an output test on your diag tool?
