VW Touran AZV 2004 - No window or central locking function #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: AZV

Hi

Drivers door, no window function, central looking not working, fuel flap etc. nothing working, DS 150 and vcds no communication with control module, removed door card tested supply's, terminal 12 live (fuse 49) terminal 20 live ( fuse 57 ) terminal 8 earth all ok, think terminal 19 beside terminal 20 should be earth but do not have wiring dia to check this , checked both can wires with scope and have a good reading, do these door control modules give problems? looks like a faulty module just wondered before I removed wiring loom to check it further?

Yes in a simple answer these modules do fail.
Check the wiring very carefully from the A pillar to the door in the rubber grommet.
If you need a wiring diagram go to the VW Erwin website and pay for an hour for access to all the info.

Only just seen this & I dont know if you've managed to fix it yet.
Last year I had a 2004 Polo with very similar fault.
The wiring for the CDL went through the electric window motor, after replacing the window motor the CDL worked again.
Took a while to identify that it was the window killing the CDL & not the other way around.
