Hi Gents,
Have a start stop issue with this car, warning light indicates it's no longer available! Car runs fine otherwise. According to the customer it's only occurred since we changed the gearbox. carried out a full scan only fault codes are in the BCM... U1739-87 - SDU (smart driver unit) - missing message - Pending B1047 - LIN: serial line - Present.
The B1047 code is live, the U code returns after about two miles of driving. Cycle the ign switch on and off and the fault only returns after another 2 miles. Have heard that some have had software updates to cure some issues. Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and pay for any repairs needed as I don't have the necessary equipment to configure it. Customer is pretty unreasonable so I need to pacify him

I would start(!)with simple test first.Have you checked battery.It is important to carry out a conductance test.
