Honda CR-V 2103 - Customer wants rear lamps on with DRL's #

Year of Manufacture *: 2013

Customer wants rear lamps to come on with DRLs ,any one know if this is programable ? He`s been stopped for no rear lamps after dusk because DRLs are so bright he`s not turned lights on !

Hello Mike,
Your customer needs educating on the use of DRL's the clue is in Day!!
The law as I have read it states that DRL's must be bright enough for "Day time use" and must not be used at night because they are too bright and could dazzle other motorists.
Rear lights are not permissible inconjunction with DRL's.

Ian ,i`ve already told him what DRLs stands for !
Andrew , No auto light function available
Tony , Think i may just print that and give it to him !
Also put a smile on local dealers face anyway ! who confirmed adding rear lamps to DRLs is :
A illegal
B would make DRLs switch down to low output depending on if they switch off or just go dim on side light function
