Hi guys I have the son of a long term customer who has a 1.4 petrol 2010 Astra got towed into Vauxhall loss of power. Speaking to the tech the fault is a misfire unde load the car can idle all day fine but if driven ecu goes into limp with random misfire stored. They tried a cool, replaced erg and now tell him they want to strip engine. I asked if they had done compression test and they have and all are ok. I think it sounds like exhaust restriction.
The owner is 100% decent is more than willing to pay for job doing correctly but literally has lost all faith in dealer that have had car 3weeks!!
