Vauxhall Zafira B 1.6 Petrol Z16XE1 2008 - O/S stop lamp not working #

Year of Manufacture *: 2008
O/S stop light not working. No fault codes except "O/S stop light not working" Activate stop lights via VAUX-COM and they all work. Changed: stop light switch, CIM unit, UEC. Checked all wiring and connections as best as poss. although VAUX-COM turns light on, so no wiring fault after UEC! Also no side lights or head lights. Disconnect head light switch and side and head lights come on. But still no O/S brake light. New light switch tried, no different. I've been on this one for days (or is it weeks?) any help would be much appriceated.
Hello Pete, just throwing some ideas forward. I'm sure you've already checked but has someone forced a twin filament bulb in? (Assume this runs a 21watt single filament with low voltage for tail light?) Also has it had a towbar fitted? (I would've thought the fog light would be utilised if ecu had recorded the above fault). P.s once you've cured the fault I usually find I need to lock the car for 10 minutes before the thing will work again.
