Hi all
would like wiring diagram if possible abs light on and steering assist light on.customer says since going through water,had this from mobile guy so not the first to get involved.
no comms from abs module p1649 steering assist code 01317 control module in instrument cluster.
checked lives and earths ok except pin 35 on module as no voltage fuse ok.Need to know what else in the circuit, anyone else had this fault.

The UKAT Workshop Data has wiring diagram for ABS (Guided Diagnostic) and tests for all the pins, as you say pin 35 is fused but does not look like anything else on the circuit

Back onto this job having put a seperate live to pin 35 still no comms with abs.sent ecu to bb reman tested no fault.All live feeds there and earths ok,so expected ecu to be faulty.can signals look ok on pins 14 and 26 is there something in the circuit i have missed.
All other modules come back with fault no comms with abs.Anyone had similar problems with these.
i am using e3 tech and my vag com.Or should i get a second test on ecu with another company?
Also this car is basic it has no traction control or tpms.

are you checking CAN signal with unit plugged in or unplugged ?

as the test should be performed unplugged .
