Just wondering if anyone has come across a sticking clutch pedal on this model? It's still under maker's warranty and the main dealer's had a look at it twice without a fix. They blead it first time and replaced the master cylinder 2nd time. It's a strange fault in as much as it's not loosing any fluid but if you take it on the open road (Motor Way) its worse if you drive for about 10 miles the clutch pedal goes at least half way down with no resistance and sticks there. If you pump the pedal it comes back for a while then starts sticking again. Anyone come across this?

I have seen same symptoms a few times with failed concentric slave cylinders, (not on a focus in my case).

difficult to believe but seals can let air in but not leak fluid.

The last one I proved faulty by checking in the slave cylinder would hold vacuum with Myty Vac.

Yes I have seen this, far too many times to be honest and ive been down the road of thinking it was the master cylinders as ive had this issue even after fitting new concentric slaves.

Its always been the concentric slave at fault. As mentioned Mityvac it !
