Landrover Freelander 2.0D M47 2006 Auto - Stuck in 4th gear #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: M47

Morning All
I have a Freelander that is stuck in 4th gear
and 4th is flashing on the dash along with a hill
descent light on.

I have P1748 Pwm solenoid 2-4 gear brake OC-SC
which is permanent.
Also PO7O5 selector lever lock switch incorrect signal.intermittent
P1605 Eeprom error detected.Intermittent

Could anyone advise on the solenoid location and
why hill light is on as we have very little tech info on this before we tackle it.

If you have to replace one of the solenoids, they're pretty easy. Front cover off and away you go.
The hardest part I found, was cross referencing the transmission oil. In the end I managed to cross it to Fuchs oil that Merc use.
