I have this in as a non start. It will not crank, and when starter is triggered I have no injection pulse. Immobiliser reads correctly through bis and management ecu reports no problems with immo data.
Pin out at ecu sees all earths and supply's correct as is the CAN trace. It has no stored codes and screen shot of data on ignition is the same of the same car I had when it was starting,as were the data shots in the bsi and the bsm.
The only code I do have is in the bsm being F000. Can on mute. Scope can at bsm looks correct and bsm is communicating live data correctly.
I have tried a good bsm with no change.
Bsm is receiving a crank signal on b9 if memory serves.
The only info I can find on F000 would suggest a software error when using the dealer tool, but I am using a Dec or the Modis. Same data and code with each.
Have also noted that coms is lost to bsi and bsm on crank when using either tool, but have found this to be the case with other C4 s also.
Sorry for length of post, anybody seen this or have any thoughts please?

Had this a few times and is usually ABS related

Remove battery and check wiring harness behind it- its usually a blue wire that rots out.

Yes have seen that also but it flags coms code between hand brake or ecu or abs. But did look anyway out of desperation😀 but no sign of anything and nothing on the ecu CAN or the BSM CAN signals to suggest there is a problem. Have you seen this F000 code before?

Yes, I've had a few issues with dec giving similar codes.......stick it on lexia/diag box and you get something else.
Have you tried just reading EOBD.

Same code with Modis, Eobd reader will not read anything except engine, which has no codes. The only reference to that code is when using a dealer tool its software needs updating

I have a C4 in at the moment with the same problem. The problem on this is that the car has outstanding finance, and the finance company have fitted a black box to track the car for repo man and they have also blocked it from starting. Easily sorted though.

Make sure the car doesn't have a silly chime when the door is opened and key in ign. You never know.

Really?, never heard of that, but where would that be connected so as to not show any codes or show anything wrong on live data?
Yes it does have a chime if the key is in and the door is open, but so does the other C4 I looked at the other week.
Local main dealer have told the owner they will look at it for nothing and tell owner what the problem is !!! Have told the owner they will look at it, tell him the problem is it wont start and quote 2k to cover them selves but hey, its up to him!

Yes they have a chime on most but not like this one. It's wired into ignition and put scanner on today no fault codes either.
