Hi Jim
you can do this with a number of cars out there today some with Bluetooth and others on Wi-Fi, they all need a good firewall to stop this in the future.

"O" Yessss cars are becoming more like a smart phone !!! where they do allsorts and by the way its also a phone

A car just like a smart phone has allsorts of gadgetry and by the way did I mention its also a Car and you can use it to drive to work !!

If any thing is connected to the big wide world it is vulnerable

The car today is able to grass you up to how fast you were driving, where you were driving at what time,plus weather conditions and if you were dozing off, drunk or what ever just think some cars buzz your seat for lane recognition ,,,, the technology is out there

You won't be telling the boss, sorry my computer has a virus,,,, you will be saying sorry my car had a virus that's why my car broke down and I'm late for work

Looks to be true, just cost them a recall of 1.4 Million vehicles….ouch!

They deserve all they get in recalls now and in the future, just for holding back information from all aftermarket repairers, they put the technology into their cars, they now tell us what programming we can do and information we can have, lets see how they cope with all the hacking that's going to hit them in the future.
