VW Beetle 2000 - Is it possible to disable alarm function with VAG-COM #

Random Alarm operation. No fault codes

Driving owner nuts.

It is an old car and he is perfectly happy simply to disable the alarm if possible rather than spend a load of money dealing with a trivial but nevertheless annoying problem.

Can this be done?

If you look through the measuring blocks there is last trigger information there.
I can't remember the blocks but it's probably on Ross Tech website.

you may find its the alarm sounder is faulty same as vauxhall end up disconnecting and bining the unit generally the internal battery is duff Ray
