Peugeot 307 NFU 2006 - Random misfire, codes P1336, P1337 & P1338 #
Posted by Martin Stackemann on June 9, 2015, 5:33 pm Hi I have a Peugeot 307 petrol 1600 with random misfire FAULT CODES p1336,p1337,p1338 Ive done all normal checks Compressions, Plugs,Coilpack, cranksensor, injectors etc. The problem I'm getting is when I start car and let it tickover no problem I rev it up to just over 2500 revs it then misfires on tickover then i switch it off and start it again then no misfire until I rev it up to 2500 revs? If I rev it higher to say 5000 revs let it go back to tick over its ok? Ive heard these do have a Hydraulic tappet problem but are these the symptoms or have got an ECU problem has anyone had similar problems. Is there anywhere these engines can get air leaks randomly? Any help would be useful. Regards Martin
