Mercedes Benz OM642.890 2010 - Engine removal and refit #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: OM642.890

Can anyone advise or have had experience with fitting an engine removed from 3.0 V6 CRD Jeep Cheerokee into a 2010 Mercedes Vito 3.0 v6. Do they fit?

Hi

In word No idea! but most likely a can of worms.

I while ago I was after an oil filter cap for a Jeep Cherokee, which turned out to be on back order from Jeep.

Spoke to a helpful guy at MB, who after researching the issue (from numbers on the housing) concluded that the main Filter Housing was different i.e. not available from MB but the cap was the same.

So to sum up there will be differences as to if this will be easy to get round I am not sure.
