Range Rover 4.6 1996 - Loss of remote fob #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 4600

What is the procedure for programming new remote fobs to the above vehicle, I am using the DEC superscan and cannot find it under the engine or BCM modules ?

The EKA does not seem to work in the door lock, the customer has lost the original remote and has been using the car without remote after "A modification elsewhere" was carried out some time ago, Now after a flat battery it is asking for remote on dash and immobilised !!!

Does this have the 2 button square lucas remote? If so it is on DEC look for alarm or immobiliser, If it is the later type then the Body unit will need rescncing but Dec removed this from the superscan 6 years ago after a number of problems with it.

Unfortunatly it's the oblong type, will have to talk to a local specialist with autologic !
