ECU repairs #

Just wanted to bring to members attention this Company that advertises here on UKAT,

ECU.testing.com, they advertise here,

Vehicle was Astra H , 2008 Teves MK 60 with ESP, usual pressure sensor fault, unit not repairable and replacement sent out with lifetime warranty, no coding needed, plug and play, job sorted, cost for recon unit including VAT £310, lot less than GM, very helpful company that I will use again !!

We have used them to repair a power steering ecu on a C1 .We also had no problem with them.We did mention UK AUTOTALK to see if we could get some discount but unfortunately none was given.But we will certainly use them again.

I've been looking to use them. So good to hear positive comments. I can also recommend actronics. Been very helpful and the catalogue with common faults is ally useful.

Used ba reman last week as they were the only place I could find to look at a Saab cim and I wasn't impressed. It was the timescale that I was annoyed about. Was with them for over a week and no call to update me.

I can also recommend actronics, sent turbo actuator for repair monday, repaired tuesday back to me wednesday.

I have used ACtronics several timesand got on well with them.

Had a couple of issues with them this week, problems dealt with very quickly over the phone and an amicable agreement was quickly reached. It's one thing to be happy with a company when things go well. It's how problems are dealt with that shows the integrity of their promises or not. So I am again happy with ACTronics, and would happily recommend them.

Horses for courses I find. Some I repair myself, common repairs I send to ac tropics or ecu testing never b..! Really obscure faults usually end up at ATP.
Even then you know some ecus that never get done 100%, and it's better to sorce a 2nd hand unit as a starting point.

Hi

I use ATP,Actronics and Total tuning for the majority of my repairs.

Avilec on IOW for odd ball/Jap stuff, slighly more expensive but good when you are stuck

Ecu testing have either not been able to help and/or NFF with unit which later proved faulty, each to there own.

Cartech electronics worth a go if you are stuck on newer stuff----but vv expensive.
