Range Rover 3.0D 2004 - Radio cuts out after a few seconds - Ongoing #

Hi,

We have a Range Rover which came in with a faulty battery with various related electrical faults.
Replaced battery and all ok, except radio / sat navigation.

Unit powers up, but the power button flashes and radio sound cuts out every 2 seconds, also unable to set the clock with the unit as this also resets after 2 seconds.
Also cd changer constantly cycling.

Tried battery reset again without any joy.

Any thoughts

Have a look in the n/s boot area where the cd player, dvd player and phone module is, I had a similar car in with a fault like this and there was water ingress into these units, worth a look.

Simple, send your customer to the nearest range Rover dealer,

, we do not have their tooling, there you go, that simple !!

Checked for water in rear boot wells, module's and wiring and all ok.

Sent to landrover. I will post fix when I hear any news.

I've seen bad bluetooth module cause this. There is a way to bypass it. Google it to see how. Amps can also get water/dampness inside

I tried the bluetooth bypass as per youtube, with no luck.

I will let you know when It gets sorted.
