VW Sharan 2010 - Add blue light on #

Year of Manufacture *: 2010

Got this coming in on Monday.. Does anyone know the location of the add blue tank. The touareg is under the spare wheel but as this is a 7 seater I expect it to be in another location.

Hi Steve . Thanks for the reply. Looked at autodata on Friday and could find no mention of location. I will have a better look tomorrow. Should not be too hard to find. Probably too big a hurry.

NSR in the boot area - Behind a drop down panel inside.
If this is anything but a top up, tread carefully.

Clearing the fault memory alone without carrying out a guided diagnostic & subsequent actions, (desulfation & road test) can result in a new Engine ECU being required.

Software updates are common on this age for SCR faults & NOx senders are now starting to fail, (Continental sensors = a bit crap)

How can they get this so wrong? , poor customer getting the raw end once more , oh well it pays our wages

Steve. Found instructions on autodata. How did I miss it. Put it down to old age.
Jon. Thanks for the e mail. Great you took the time to do this. Lucky this job was straight forward and no fault codes. What a disaster if it did go t..s up.
