Hi and thanks for reading this post. I have a Toyota land cruiser in the workshops at the moment with no servo assit brakes. Loads of faults stored in the abs , which I erased and re read. Permanent fault codes stored are
C1223 malfunction in abs control system
C1251 pump motor is locked open circuit in pump motor circuit .
Have checked the relays under bonnet and lives etc.
have noticed if I tap the base of the master cylinder that the pump starts to work .
Suspect pump but are there any other checks I could do before condemning a £400 pump . Example is there pressure switches that can stick and would anyone have a info on pin out testing on master cylinder module .
