Sealey generator - Non start #

i know this is not really the right board but i have a sealey 2 stroke generator which i use for camping and it wont start, i am not really clued up on 2 stroke, ive cleaned carb out, fresh petrol, new plug, but wont go spark is very weak could it be the coil as it doesnt seem to have points ?

Could be coil but I would check the voltage from the winding(charge coil) on the stator plate first, you need to see about 80v AC IIRC from this.

Bin it and buy a kippor if on a budget small 4 stroke and cheap. Use a bit of oil but for price they stand dome beeting. If you Want to treat yourself go honda
