Vauxhall Zafira B Z16XEP 2006 - Can bus crash course needed #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: Z16XEP

Hi all, need a little help with this car, I understand a little about can bus, but definately a course is needed.

This car has no comps with abs, supplies are good but the can signals look ugly, using a break out box it shows activity on the can low but not on can high.

As far as I can tell the only modules on the can are Engine, Power steering, ABS and CIM.
Fault codes
Engine U2108 no comms with abs
CIM U2108 no comms with abs
IPC U2139 invalid signal from CIM

Just looking for some direction and methods of testing, I'm thinking one of these modules is corrupting the lines.

Hi Chris.

Seen a few Zafira's with water in the under-bonnet fuse box.

It always seems to short the can wires out.

Its not always obvious, So it is worth splitting the fuse box by undoing the bolts going through it. hth

Thanks for that Ian, I've had a look this morning and can see signs of water ingress.
I was hoping I could bridge the can lines in the sockets underneath and then test it, but the fuse box needs to be in to power everything up.
Is it a case of just replacing the fuse box and hoping??

I usually just dry them out and refit with a plastic bag over it. I think i open it up to dry it out.
