Hi all

I have this old bus in for service and went to take it off the ramp and it would start and cut out.Scanned it and got code B2799 "Engine immobilizer system fault" Customer said it was difficult to start about a month ago but eventually did. There's no spare key to try so I'm at a bit of a loss, has anyone come across this before ? Thanks in advance.
Dominic.

I'm sure these have an immobiliser light in a switch blank by the steering column?
Leaving the ignition on for 30minutes often re-aligns the key (I'm assuming that's what it's doing, as that has worked for me before).
Autodata has key programming data, as long as you have a working key.

Tony you are a genius !I Left ign on for half an hr and away it went. Many thanks.
Dominic.
