Wipers park in various different positions when switched off and sometimes do not turn on, when they will not turn on windscreen washers do not work. Modis and Autoboss come up with same code and
very helpful description "Windscreen Wipers"

Does anyone have these mixed letter/number codes
that may give a mor accurate explanation?

I normally can find info on these BMW codes on
4 different forums, but this one comes up blank.
We suspect a relay issue.

If they park in different positions, what is the park command doing?

What is the switching topology? is each station receiving it's signal?

What is the status of the bonnet switch?

Hi

There is a blue relay in the passengers fuse box behind the glovebox. These fail and cause wiper parking issues.

Obviously this may not be the issue with your car but it is a known issue with the E9x range.

Thanks for your inputs, car had to go out but will
have it back in in about a week. Alan , will check the switch but did not get any alerts for bonnet ajar. Simon, i did pick up on issues relating to that relay with this fault code, but we other models and the info was on foreign forums.I just
canot beleive i have not found these BMW codes anywhere, not even well known BMW FORUMS.
