Ford Focus 2006 - Remote locking not working, code B2425 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2006
( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: b2425 remote keyless entry out of synchronization

Hi

Does anyone know what this mean? the key fob does not open the doors but they will open with the key and something clicks until the ignition is turned on. the customer said he has just replaced the fob battery is there a procedure after this to be recognised? I have tried key on press button but nothing. There is only one key fob

If it is the same procedure as previous focus,then sit in car with all doors ,boot and bonnet shut.Cycle key on/off 4 times to ignition,wait for beep,and press button on remote.

The procedure is listed on Auto-Data and other info systems, so which do you use ?

thanks for the replies I have tried auto data procedure and press button after bleep but nothing happens. is there any way to see if the fob is sending it's signal to the gem?
